Receptionist/First Aider (St Peter\'s C of E Academy)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a Receptionist/First Aider at our Academy from January 2026.

Start Date: January 2026

Salary: NJC point 6 – 9 – Actual Salary – £18,432

Contract: Part time, permanent – Term time only – 30 hours per week reducing to 22.5 in July 2026 (due to one day being maternity cover)

Closing Date: 9am on Monday 5th January 2026

St Peter\'s CofE Academy is looking to appoint an experienced Receptionist/First Aider to deliver excellent customer service to all stakeholders and to support the smooth operation of the main office.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative and reception duties
  • Administer First Aid to staff and students
  • Commit to St Peter\'s ethos of high expectations
  • Handle a busy reception area, communicating effectively with staff, students and visitors
  • Use Microsoft Office efficiently for records and communication
  • Plan and organise staff meetings and events as required

Qualifications

  • Experience working in a busy business or school reception area
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
