The New Guild Trust are seeking to appoint an ambitious and enthusiastic SEND teacher to launch our brand-new SEND Inclusion Base — a specialist 15-place provision designed to support pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and associated needs at Alexandra Junior School. The role is full time, starting in September 2026. We are seeking a dynamic, inspirational, and highly motivated teacher to join our team.
We are looking for a teacher with experience working with pupils with ASC, SEMH and related conditions such as sensory processing and developmental language disorder, and who is well-qualified with a good understanding of SEND needs.
Responsibilities- Lead the teaching of pupils with ASC, SEMH and associated conditions, ensuring high quality provision.
- Develop and deliver creative, personalised and engaging learning programmes.
- Build strong relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
- Collaborate with the SENCO, dedicated support staff and Trust SEND specialists to shape a nurturing and highly personalised curriculum.
- Support pupils to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
- Has experience working with pupils with SEND, particularly ASC.
- Delivers creative, personalised and engaging learning.
- Builds strong relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
