The Willows Primary School is looking for a Casual Premises Assistant to support maintenance, cleaning, health and safety, and security tasks under the direction of the Facilities Manager.
Responsibilities
- Keep the school secure, including locking and unlocking buildings
- Assist with general maintenance, minor repairs, and upkeep of the site
- Support health and safety procedures
- Operate building systems such as heating, lighting, alarms, and CCTV
- Help with moving furniture and equipment, waste collection, and cleaning of designated areas
- Receive deliveries and support school lettings
- Act as a key holder and assist with emergency access when needed
- Work with contractors and support health and safety testing and checks
Requirements
All appointments will be conditional upon a satisfactory criminal record check, as the position is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. References will be sought and an online social media check completed for all shortlisted candidates prior to interview.
