Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on the use of OT methods, functional assessments and evidence‑based interventions that promote independence.
  • Work across organisations to deliver seamless, joined‑up support for individuals with complex needs.
  • Use your extensive knowledge of community equipment, prescribing equipment that supports people to live fulfilling lives at home.
  • Use your understanding of legislation around provision of equipment and adaptations to ensure the overall most appropriate, cost‑effective solutions.
  • Offer clinical leadership.
  • Contribute to service development, development of innovative practices, quality improvement and cross‑sector collaboration.

About You

  • Extensive experience in Occupational Therapy in community, reablement, or integrated care settings.
  • Strong understanding of OT models of practice, functional assessment, and interventions that promote independence.
  • In‑depth knowledge of community equipment, equipment stores, and how equipment provision supports safe, independent living.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to work effectively across organisations.
  • A passion for enabling people to live the lives they choose in their own homes.
