St John's CE Primary School is seeking an organised, proactive, and highly professional individual to lead the day‑to‑day operations of our busy school office. This is a fantastic opportunity to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and to deliver excellent administrative support within an educational setting. You will be part of an outstanding support staff team across our Multi‑Academy Trust.
Qualifications:
- Someone to act as a welcoming first point of contact for staff, pupils, parents and visitors.
- A dedicated, caring and energetic team‑player, self‑motivated towards all aspects of school life.
- Prior experience of working in a busy school office.
- An enthusiastic, approachable, and motivated professional looking to make a real impact within a supportive school environment.
- Good literacy and numeracy levels, excellent IT, organisational and interpersonal skills.
Regular tasks and duties:
- Oversee school reception.
- Answer school telephones and make calls.
- Operate school email systems and other communications.
- Manage school registers.
- Operate the school MIS, Arbor; manage data returns.
- Process educational visits.
- Process safeguarding and health and safety procedures.
- Produce school letters, newsletters and update school/Trust website.
- Manage school orders, invoices and income.
- Manage the administration of the Out of School Club and Nursery provision.
- Administration of staff and pupil absence.
