Join The Excel Academy and the Alpha Academies Trust as a Maths Pilot TDA Apprentice Teacher. The role supports our highly successful Maths Faculty and helps raise standards across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach mathematics to secondary students while developing lesson plans and assessment strategies.
- Work collaboratively with senior teachers to deliver curriculum aligned to national standards.
- Participate in the Staffordshire University Teacher Degree Apprenticeship programme, completing a teacher degree within four years.
- Engage with students, staff and parents, communicating effectively in spoken English.
- Contribute to the development of a positive classroom environment and support the academy’s aims of equality and inclusion.
Qualifications & Experience
- Unqualified, with an interest in teaching mathematics.
- Strong communication skills in spoken English.
- Commitment to the apprenticeship pathway and willingness to undertake additional training.
