The Role
Ready to help shape the future of Stoke-on-Trent? We’re looking for an organised, proactive and people-focused Funding Programme Assistant to support the delivery of exciting regeneration and economic growth projects across our city.
Responsibilities
- Support the delivery and monitoring of UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) projects and other major funding programmes.
- Work closely with partners from the public, private and voluntary sectors.
- Manage project claims, ensure spend is compliant, and provide high-quality reporting.
- Assist with board papers, minutes, project documentation and communications.
- Help maintain reporting systems, track performance and keep stakeholders informed.

- Strong organisational, administration and project support skills.
- Experience working in a fast paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
- A good understanding of project management principles.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
- Confidence handling data, writing reports and supporting meetings.
- A collaborative, proactive, and problem solving approach.
