The Excel Academy is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic family support worker to join our team of professionals who are working collaboratively to raise standards at Key Stages 3 and 4. Our ethos is one of “Pride and Respect” and we value a sense of belonging across the organisation. We are looking for a professional who shares this commitment and can contribute to outstanding practice. The post requires the ability to converse with members of the public, staff and students in accurate spoken English.

Our purpose is to provide a first-class education to enable all students to excel. We believe in developing all aspects of a young person and recognise that every child is an individual. Our success rests on strong relationships between the Academy and home. The Academy is part of the Alpha Academies Trust in Stoke-on-Trent, comprising two secondary and four primary academies plus a Central Team. The Trust prioritises recruiting outstanding staff and supporting their professional development.
