EXTENDED SCHOOLS EDUCARER

Forsbrook Nursery and Out of School Club is an outstanding nursery situated within Forsbrook CE Primary School. We offer care and education for children aged from 8 weeks to 5 years, term-time only between the hours of 7.30am – 5:30pm.
We are currently recruiting for a permanent Extended School Edu-Carer to join our team, commencing 3 November 2026. The position is for 30 hours per week, with working hours between 7:30am and 5:30pm. Shift patterns will be discussed and confirmed at interview.
You will be required to work across all of the nursery rooms from 0 – 5 years and will also include work within the out of school club. The successful applicant will have at least 2 years’ experience of working with under 0 – 5’s and will be qualified to at least NVQ 3 Level or equivalent. The post would be particularly suitable for candidates who are keen for further professional development and who may be considering a future career in early years or teaching.
The successful candidate will:
- Have a GCSE pass or equivalent in Maths and English
- Be a great early years practitioner
- Possess a sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage
- Use creativity to inspire a love of learning
- Be a great communicator and a team player.
- Share in the nursery’s vision to maintain our outstanding status
- Be supported in their continuous professional development.
