The Inspirational Learning Academies Trust are seeking to appoint an Early Years Practitioner to work within the Early Years team at Whitfield Valley Primary Academy.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to planning and delivery of the Early Years curriculum within the different areas of learning in ‘Foundation Stage’
  • Implement the agreed schools development plan
  • Create an attractive, stimulating, safe and secure classroom/school environment through display and classroom organisation
  • Assess pupils, particularly those in your group, through observations, records and discussions with other team members, parents and the Head of School
  • Support the maintenance of positive links between home and school by welcoming parents and developing links with other agencies
  • Maintain a safe environment for children, other staff and visitors
  • Maintain compliance with specific school policies that relate to pupils in the classroom

Qualifications

The post holder will hold a relevant Level 3 qualification.
