Milton Primary Academy (part of Windsor Academy Trust) is seeking to appoint an ambitious and enthusiastic experienced class teacher to join our teaching team from 1 September 2026 on a permanent basis. As staffing has not yet been decided for the new academic year, this post could be in Nursery to Year 6 depending on the successful candidate's strengths and school needs. The post is for 32.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday and paid on the main pay scale.

Milton Primary Academy prides itself on its forward-thinking approach to teaching and learning and would like to appoint someone who wishes to engage in high-quality professional development to further improve the quality of teaching in their classroom. Some of our KS2 classrooms are starting to use digital technology via iPads to support teaching and learning as we aim to prepare children for the future. Experience in using iPads as part of daily teaching would be desirable, but not essential.

As a two form entry primary school, the successful candidate will have a year group partner to work alongside, as well as further opportunities to work with colleagues across the family of schools in Windsor Academy Trust. We have a broad and comprehensive professional development offer, both in school and across the trust, which means staff at all levels continue to grow together towards providing consistency in approaches for the pupils.

The pupils at Milton are a delight. They love coming to school and thrive from the wide personal potential offer that we provide. All staff actively support school events, clubs and community events to ensure Milton Primary is at the heart of the community. Our pupils are respectful, happy learners who follow the school ASPIRE values daily and celebrate each other's successes.

The deadline for applications is Friday 15th May at 12pm. Shortlisting will take place on Friday 15th May. Interviews will take place on Wednesday 20th May.
