Catering Assistant – (Maple Court Academy part of Alpha Academies Trust)

Located at Maple Court Academy, a primary school in the Bentilee area of Stoke‑on‑Trent, we are looking to appoint a Catering Assistant for term‑time only. The role starts as soon as possible and requires a Level 2 qualification.

Salary & Hours

£2,885 – £2,930 per year for 5 hours per week, with additional hours available.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the efficient running of an economic catering operation.
• Ensure the highest levels of food safety and customer service in accordance with Academy policies.
• Communicate confidently in spoken English with staff, students, and members of the public.
• Support the preparation, delivery and cleaning of catering services during term‑time.

Requirements

• Level 2 qualification or equivalent.
• Excellent spoken English and confidence in customer interaction.
• Willingness and ability to work 5 hours per week, with flexibility for extra hours.
