Hayes Meadow Primary School is seeking a Teaching Assistant – Level 3 NVQ or equivalent.

Grade 3 Scale point 5 pro rata (FTE – Β£25,583.00)

Term Time - Permanent contract, up to 30 hours per week over five days.

Position begins: September 2026

Responsibilities:

  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Communicate effectively, have a positive attitude and work successfully as part of a team within the school.
  • Be calm, positive and use own initiative while working within school policies and under guidance of line manager and other senior staff.
  • Have experience of working across the primary age range and relevant knowledge of the curriculum.
  • Plan and deliver interventions where required for pupils.
  • Understand the needs of or have experience working with children with SEND.
  • Communicate effectively and positively with parents/carers.
