Staffordshire County Council is seeking a Support Officer for the replacement of its social care case management system (Liquidlogic). The role is fixed-term until 30th April 2027.
Main Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of the new system by coordinating training, guidance, and communications.
- Assist the Business Readiness Workstream Leads with the creation and distribution of project communications to system users, including staff, health and education partners, and members of the public.
- Help develop, configure, and roll‑out a new eLearning system and monitor usage.
- Coordinate meetings, workshops, and events, including room bookings, attendance, and related correspondence.
- Develop clear and professional guidance documentation to support users and change champions.
- Provide reliable and consistent support to users on‑site or via the helpdesk (e.g., answering routine telephone and email requests, investigating and resolving issues, signposting users to available guidance, maintaining accurate call records, escalating issues where appropriate).
- Complete tasks assigned from the project plan by the workstream leads accurately and within required timescales.
The Ideal Candidate
- Excellent communication skills, with experience interacting with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Credible experience of quickly building effective working relationships.
- Strong planning and organizational skills; able to work to tight deadlines.
- Ability to analyse technical functionality and translate it into easy‑to‑understand guidance.
- Attention to detail and ability to identify issues and solutions quickly.
- Flexible approach to work, able to prioritize and adapt to changing focus.
- Full knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and ability to utilize the main applications.
