Colwich Church of England Primary School is seeking to appoint a committed Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our supportive and dedicated team.
About The Role
- Support teaching and learning across Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
- Deliver learning activities to small groups and whole classes
- Lead targeted interventions and contribute to planning and preparation of learning activities
- Monitor, assess and feedback on pupil progress, supporting positive outcomes
- Help maintain a calm, purposeful and inclusive learning environment
- Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff as part of a supportive team
The Successful Candidate Will
- Have experience working across the primary age range
- Be confident in leading small group work and whole-class activities
- Demonstrate high expectations of pupil learning, behaviour and wellbeing
- Be able to evidence the impact of their support on pupils’ progress
- Show initiative, flexibility and a willingness to support colleagues when needed
- Be a reflective practitioner who values teamwork and open communication
