This is an exciting opportunity to be part of truly integrated public health by joining the Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Consultant in Public Health Alliance. In the context of emerging integrated care systems, this is a unique opportunity to shape a new approach, with public health at the forefront of system leadership. Along with your fellow Consultants in Public Health, you will build a collaborative approach, maximising public health capacity and expertise across the Integrated Care System (ICS) footprint.
The Alliance is an integrated team of Consultants in Public Health, providing public health capacity and expertise across the IAS footprint.
You will play a key role providing strategic leadership across organisational boundaries, working with partners and communities to improve public health outcomes. These two posts will be employed by Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent ICB and hosted by Staffordshire County Council. The first post will have a portfolio which includes children and young people’s public health, and the second post will have a portfolio which includes health protection and the wider determinants of health.
Salary: Salary for the post(s): NHS Medical Consultant (dependent on experience and qualifications) or NHS Agenda for Change Scale 8d/9 (dependent on experience).
