Staffordshire County Council is offering an apprenticeship opportunity for an Apprentice Data Technician within the Planning and Performance Team. The role supports the Careers and Participation Service and develops data skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Careers and Participation Service with the use of the NCCIS compliant database to ensure accurate recording.
  • Checking and processing a range of data from various sources and uploading onto various databases.
  • Supporting in the production of reports.

Ideal Candidate

  • Maths and English GCSE Grade A‑C / 9‑4 (or equivalent).
  • Must not hold an existing qualification at level 3 (or higher) in a similar subject to the apprenticeship qualification.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Experience and confidence of using a range of ICT software programs including Excel.
  • A ‘can do’ and flexible approach as sometimes things can change; ability to prioritise work and manage your time.
  • To be able to work with a high degree of attention to detail.
