Greenhall is a Special School for children in the Early Years with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
We are looking for someone who has a child‑centred approach at the heart of all they do; who believes in releasing potential in others. - Care about details – you know whose coat is whose and are willing to spend time looking for a missing welly boot!
- Be loving and give the best hugs!
- Remain calm, patient, and playful when a child is struggling with big feelings – sit on the floor with them, name the feeling, and coach them through it.
- Love stories and be happy to read the same book many times a day without losing the magic and voices that it was first read with!
- Sing with gusto and read a story or join in play like a Bafta winner.
- Love coming to nursery each day to spend time with our precious little ones.
- Have a warm, infectious smile that lights up their face – this smile is there to greet our children, families, and fellow staff to show them how loved, special, and valued they are!
- Dress appropriately for the weather so that the great outdoors is never out of bounds!
- Be a team player – work WITH others, including parents and other professionals.
- Support the teacher to ensure the daily routine promotes independence and maximises opportunities.
- Support pupils in all aspects of their learning and care.
