The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

We are looking for a Contract Officer to join our Assets Team to assist with delivery of planned maintenance improvement works to the housing stock. Reporting to one of the Project Managers, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day contract administration of the work streams in your remit. The main area of responsibility for this post will be heating upgrades, with flexibility to support additional contracts as required.

Duties include:

  • Liaison with external contractors
  • Budget monitoring
  • Raising and payment of works orders
  • Agreeing costs
  • Inspecting and signing off works
  • Working closely with customers to resolve any issues efficiently and professionally

You will need a good understanding of contract management processes and a good understanding of construction relating to residential buildings. Ideally, you will have a HNC qualification in the built environment with some expertise and knowledge of heating systems. You will have good communication and customer care skills, ideally with experience of working within a social housing planned maintenance environment. You’ll be passionate about improving the quality of our homes for the benefit of our customers and providing excellent customer service.
