Walsall Council, Full time Social Work posts (37 hours) – Ref: SS01025. Grade: G9; Salary Range: £39,513 – £44,711 and newly qualified G8 salary range £36,126 – £40,476 (Pay Award Pending).

Make a Real Difference in Specialist Social Work with Walsall MBC! This role supports two specialist teams: Learning Disabilities and Younger Adults.

Responsibilities and Team Roles

  • Learning Disabilities Team: Become a named worker and build meaningful, long-term relationships with people of all ages who have a learning disability. This team offers a collaborative, multi-agency working environment.
  • Younger Adults Team: Help shape a newly formed team dedicated to ensuring positive transitions into adult services for young people, including those with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) in education. Contribute to a rewarding and developing area of social work.
