Job Title: Social Care Worker
Permanent. We have an exciting opportunity for a social care worker to join a dedicated and supportive team with a strong commitment to strength-based practice. We are seeking positive, motivated candidates who are passionate about working collaboratively with people to achieve meaningful outcomes.
Worcestershire County Council, 36 Hours per Week, Location: Parkside, Bromsgrove, Team: Redditch Area Team.
Role Responsibilities
- Cover duty on a four-week rota basis.
- Manage own caseload with appropriate supervision and support, working with individuals to enable positive change in their lives.
- Advocate for people and work in partnership with health colleagues, statutory agencies, and voluntary and community sector providers.
- Work creatively, innovatively, and identify strength-based solutions.
- Hybrid working available; staff expected to be office-based minimum two days per week.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience working with a high level of competence in assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Good knowledge of the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act, confident in applying legislation to practice.
- Enthusiastic, able to work autonomously, demonstrate creativity and flexibility in approach to practice.
- Confident in advocating for people and working collaboratively to achieve meaningful outcomes.

- Monthly supervision, ongoing training and development opportunities.
