Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council, Cape Primary School is a vibrant and inclusive primary school based in the heart of Smethwick. The closing date is 18/04/26 at 12pm. Please note school is closed from 28/03/26 – 12/04/26 for the Easter break. Our School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable groups including children, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS clearance and satisfactory references are therefore required for this role. This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role. Pre-employment checks will be carried out in line with KCSIE, including online checks.

Hours: 32.5 hours per week (Term time only + 5 days)
Grade: Band D, SCP 9-17 £27,254-£31,022 pro rata (£14.13-£16.08 per hour) (actual £21,361-£24,419 per annum)
Location: Cape Primary School, Cape Hill, Smethwick, West Midlands, B66 4SH
