In this rewarding role, you will support people in their own homes following illness, injury, or a hospital stay, working to rebuild their confidence and skills and encouraging independence. You will assist with personal care and mobility, help prepare meals, manage daily routines, and enable clients to regain their independence.
What You’ll Do
- Support with personal care, bathing, showering, toileting, and shopping
- Meal preparation
- Supervise and/or administer medication
- Build confidence
- Facilitate exercise programmes and mobility activities
About You
- Full current driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Ability to work shifts and 7-day working patterns
- Experience working with adults with a disability, older people, or older people with mental health needs
