We are seeking an inspirational, value‑led Deputy Headteacher to support our Headteacher in driving excellence. Key Responsibilities- Lead and secure excellence in teaching, learning, and curriculum provision across the school.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify priorities for pupils and the school, placing these at the heart of strategic decision‑making.
- Ensure all pupils, regardless of starting point or need, achieve their potential and feel valued as part of the Bearwood community.
- Be the Designated Safeguarding lead, with support from three deputy safeguarding leads, promoting the welfare and safety of all pupils.
- Support the Headteacher in providing strong, effective leadership aligned with the school’s vision and values.
- Proven leadership experience in a primary school setting.
- Strong understanding of curriculum design and effective teaching and learning strategies.
- Experience in safeguarding leadership and commitment to pupil welfare.
- Ability to inspire, motivate, and challenge staff and pupils to achieve high standards.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with colleagues, parents, and the wider community.
