Holly Lodge High School College of Science (SIPS), Holly Lodge School are recruiting for an Assistant Head of Year (non‑teaching). Role overview
This role provides an opportunity to deliver valuable pastoral support to students and help shape the student experience within the Pastoral team.
Responsibilities
• Coordinate and support pastoral activities across the year group.
• Foster high standards of behaviour and wellbeing for all learners.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and the wider school community to meet students’ personal, academic and developmental needs.
• Contribute to the planning and delivery of school‑wide pastoral initiatives.
Qualifications
• Successful completion of all relevant safeguarding checks and an enhanced DBS check, including a Children’s Barring List Check.
• Ability to speak fluent and spoken English – a requirement under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016).
• Evidence of experience in a non‑teaching leadership or support role within a secondary school environment is desirable.
