To start September 2026. Working with our Sixth Form students is both a privilege and an exciting opportunity to make a real impact. We are seeking a motivated and proactive Study Skills Coordinator to join our thriving and growing Sixth Form, currently with 270 students. This is a fast‑paced and rewarding role, supporting students across Years 12 and 13 as they navigate the academic and personal challenges of Sixth Form life. Most students study three A Levels alongside an enrichment programme, supported by a highly effective Supervised Study model praised by Ofsted.

We are looking for someone who is highly organised and adaptable, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The successful candidate will be committed to raising student achievement and confident in analysing and responding to student performance data. They will also bring enthusiasm, initiative, and a proactive approach to working within a dynamic and fast‑paced Sixth Form environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing and supporting high‑quality Supervised Study sessions.
  • Delivering engaging study skills sessions covering areas such as revision techniques, essay writing, and independent study.
  • Supporting students both proactively and reactively to enhance their academic performance.
  • Conducting 1:1 interventions informed by performance data.
  • Contributing to the ongoing development of Sixth Form provision, helping to ensure continued success and improvement.

Temp / Salary / Hours

The post is for 37 hours per week term time only, plus 1‑week staff learning days – 39 weeks per year. Hours of work are based on 8.30am – 4.30pm, Monday to Friday. Starting salary for a full‑time post at Band H (18‑23) is within the range £31,537 to £34,434 per annum, starting point depending on experience and qualifications. Actual salary, calculated pro‑rata based on hours and weeks worked, is within the range £27,321 to £29,831 per annum and subject to any continuous service.
