We are appointing a dedicated and suitably experienced Teaching Assistant to join our supportive staff team at Severn Bridges MAT - Mount Pleasant Primary School.
Working Conditions
- Level 2 Grade 5: 3 days a week
- Level 3 Grade 6: 2 days a week
- 30 hours a week, Monday–Friday 8:40–3:15 pm
- Annual salary £17,568
Key Responsibilities
- Support children academically and pastorally, including those with special educational needs and language and communication difficulties.
- Assist with communication strategies and manage pupil emotions in a proactive, positive and supportive way.
- Lead the class during times such as PPA (if working at Level 3).
Qualifications and Experience
- Passionate about achieving the best outcomes for all children.
- Understanding and experience of working with children in primary school or early years settings.
- Experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly language and communication needs.
- Demonstrated skills in supporting communication and managing emotions.
