Sundorne Infant School is looking to appoint a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our hardworking catering team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in helping provide healthy meals for students and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with food preparation and serving meals
  • Keeping the kitchen clean, safe, and organised
  • Washing dishes and kitchen equipment
  • Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures
  • Assist with the preparation and clearing of the school hall before and after lunchtime
  • Supporting the cook and wider catering team as needed

The Successful Candidate Will

  • Be friendly, approachable and able to work well as part of a team
  • Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Take pride in their work and pay attention to detail
  • Good hygiene standards and attention to detail
  • Previous kitchen or catering experience is helpful but not essential
