Shropshire Council is seeking a part-time Caretaker to join Shropshire Council’s Facilities Management Team at The Lantern in Shrewsbury. The role involves opening and securing the building, preparing rooms for events and meetings, carrying out safety and security checks, reporting faults or hazards, supporting staff and visitors, and helping to maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment. This is a permanent role for 13.5 hours per week, with regular weekday morning and Saturday working, plus occasional additional hours to support bookings, holidays or other cover requirements.
