This advert is open to both Internal and External applicants.
Opportunities have arisen to join Stoke on Trent Children’s Social Care assessment and safeguarding teams. You would be joining the service at a point of exciting change as Stoke-on-Trent progresses plans for Family First Partnership. You would be joining a service with commitment to working with children and their families within their local community with close links to well established Family Hubs and Family Group Conferencing Service. You would be joining a service with a strong commitment to relational practice and supporting families to develop resilience recognising the diversity of the families we work with. You will be supported by a stable management team, a strong team ethos and access to excellent learning and development service. We are looking for social workers with a strong value base, who are passionate about making a difference for children and who are able to think creatively as to how they can support families to overcome challenges.

This position is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the successful applicant will be subject to a criminal record check from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
