Whitfield Valley Primary Academy and The Inspirational Learning Academies Trust are seeking to appoint a Senior Early Years Practitioner to work within the Early Years team at Whitfield Valley Primary Academy.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the planning for and delivery of the Early Years curriculum within the different areas of learning in the Foundation Stage.
- Implement the agreed schools development plan.
- Contribute to the creating of an attractive/stimulating, safe/secure, class/school environment through display and classroom organisation.
- Contribute to the assessment of pupils, particularly those in your particular group through observations, records and discussions with other team members, parents and the Head of School.
- Support the maintenance of positive links between home and school by making parents feel welcome and develop links with other agencies.
- Maintain a safe environment for children, other staff and visitors.
- Be aware of, and maintain, specific school policies which relate to pupils in the classroom.
The post holder will hold a relevant Level 3 qualification.
