Our in-house legal team comprises lawyers, trainees, and support staff, with a focus on training, retention, and progression.
We seek an experienced solicitor or CILEX fellow to join our busy commercial property team, handling a varied caseload of transactions and complex projects for council departments and external clients. Staff are required to attend our Stafford offices at least once a week or more as needed.
Main Responsibilities- Providing legal advice on commercial property transactions such as sales, purchases, leases, development agreements, compulsory purchase, options, overage, and lockout agreements.
- Advising on draft reports and attending meetings as required.
- Supervising junior staff and delivering training.
- Adhering to the Legal Services Unit’s LEXCEL standards.
- Contributing to Staffordshire Legal Services’ marketing efforts.
Qualified Solicitor, CILEX fellow, or Barrister with proven commercial property experience, either in the public sector or private practice, and living within commuting distance of Stafford. We are open to flexible working arrangements.
