Position Teaching Assistant (individual pupils with EHCP) – Part‑time, 31 h 15 m per week.

  • Hours: 8:30 – 3:15, 31 h 15 m per week
  • Salary: £24 413 pro‑rata (≈ £18 112 per annum)

Responsibilities

  • Deliver one‑to‑one support for pupils with EHCPs within the classroom base, helping them overcome barriers to learning and thrive in educational and personal achievements.
  • Work with a small group of named children, ensuring continuity while they attend the school.
  • Support pupils’ learning and wellbeing in an inclusive setting.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Enhanced DBS disclosure (or equivalent) will be sought.
  • Relevant experience or qualification supporting children with special educational needs is desirable.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults.
