Full-Time, 2 Year Secondment post starting September 2026 with a Leadership Salary L7 to L10 (£60,145–£64,691).

The SEND Hub at Cleobury Mortimer is expanding from Foundation into Key Stage 2 with an additional class, creating two classes, each with around seven learners with moderate to severe learning difficulties (Pathway 2). This role offers an experienced primary SEND teacher the opportunity to step up into leadership, supporting both the Cleobury and Severndale teams.

Purpose of the Post

The purpose of this role is to lead and develop the SEND Hub, implementing a Hub Development Plan that includes teaching, learning, curriculum and positive behaviour support. The post consists of three days of direct teaching in the Hub, and two days of non-contact time.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and delivery of the SEND Hub, ensuring a high-quality teaching and learning environment.
  • Implement and monitor the Hub Development Plan and curriculum for the two classes.
  • Nurture and support a positive communication, collaboration and engagement ethos.
  • Provide exemplary teaching practice as a Teacher.
  • Work with the Cleobury and Severndale teams to meet individualised pupil needs.

Qualifications

  • Experienced SEN teacher with a strong background in primary education.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, develop and support curriculum and positive behaviour strategies.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and compliance with DBS and other statutory requirements.
