About the Role
Science Technician at Beacon Hill Academy (fixed-term maternity cover). Supported practical learning by coordinating laboratory use and maintenance, ensuring safety, organisation, and full stocking of equipment. Provided advice and hands‑on assistance to teaching staff, delivering engaging demonstrations and meeting curriculum demands.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate use and maintenance of laboratories, equipment and resources.
- Prepare materials, construct and modify apparatus.
- Ensure facilities are safe, organised and fully stocked.
- Provide project‑based hands‑on assistance and direction for practical lessons.
- Assist teaching staff with engaging demonstrations and practical curriculum delivery.
Ideal Candidate

- Experience in laboratory management a plus.
