Rugeley John Taylor School, part of John Taylor MAT, is proud to be growing the only ‘all-through’ school within our Trust family. Having opened our doors to our first cohort of Year 7 students in September 2025, we are continuing to build a school that will serve local communities from the earliest years right through to Sixth Form, offering a ‘gold standard’ learning experience.

As we expand, we continue to embed the core features of John Taylor MAT that have become a hallmark of its success and are looking for talented and committed teachers to join us on the next stage of our journey and development. We are seeking to appoint an additional seven teachers in September 2026 who will work closely with the founding teaching team, the Executive Headteacher and Assistant Headteacher, to continue to build an inspiring curriculum and deliver a quality first learning experience.

  • Understanding of how to provide risk learning opportunities for pupils with SEND and disadvantaged pupils

  • Ability to take responsibility and accountability for consistent progress of all pupils
  • Skills to nurture, inspire, challenge and motivate others, acting as an exemplary role model
