John Taylor MAT is looking for an experienced, flexible and adaptable professional to join its newest, and only ‘all-through’ school in our Trust family. Built from the ground up, Rugeley John Taylor will serve local communities, offering a ‘gold standard’ learning experience to the youngest learners all the way through to sixth formers.
We have an opportunity to join this brand-new school, working with Year 7 and Year 8 in the secondary phase, as well as a cohort of Nursery and Primary school aged children. You will ensure the accurate recording and maintenance of all student data, including mark sheets and assessment data, produce reports and liaise with senior colleagues in the production of the school timetable.
As this role combines both Secondary School and Primary School data and attendance record responsibilities, having an ability to prioritise, organise work and coordinate processes is essential. Supporting staff members, students and their families, you will contribute to the development and implementation of a range of actions and provisions. This will include preparing and collating data to present to staff in school to assist with assessment analysis, as well as coordinating data to promote high levels of attendance.
This role will also involve coordinating and liaising with external agencies in relation to supporting students and families with improving their attendance in school, visiting families when required. Where appropriate liaison with external services may include social services, education, psychologists, medical and counselling services.
