At Brownsover Community School, we have an amazing opportunity where we will be having a newly built specialist resource provision, where children are nurtured and educated in a way that matches their needs. We are looking for a person who has qualifications, skills, and ambition for the children to enable them to accomplish their learning and personal targets. The role is suited to someone with a sense of purpose, a positive outlook and attitude, and a passion for helping children be the best that they can be.
You will develop a highly skilled team in adapting learning and delivery to enable all children to succeed, and this career opportunity would enable the right candidate to take on the role of teacher within the specialist resource provision and SENDCo for the whole school as it transitions from an infant school to 1 form entry primary school.
We are looking for a teacher who:
- Has a proven ability to teach pupils with C&I needs effectively through the use of dynamic & engaging techniques.
- Has the ability to lead a provision and manage staff in an effective way towards outstanding practice.
- Is able to reflect and see solutions in daily teaching, in own practice and that of the team.
- Can use their initiative to solve problems.
- Can share ideas for the adjustment of learning to enable pupils to access the learning effectively.
- To build effective trusting relationships with staff, pupils, parents and external agencies.
- Will take on the role of SENDCo for our SRP and school.
