Quest Academy is dedicated to providing an inclusive environment for learners with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties. We support children 7–19 (transition at 16) and foster personal growth, resilience and confidence.
Role Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic Compassionate Schools Coach to support learners across key stage areas and deliver targeted interventions (1-2-1, small group, class). The role offers an opportunity to enhance the school experience for all.
Responsibilities
- Support learners, deliver 1-2-1, small group and class interventions.
- Be reliable, committed, caring, trustworthy and an excellent role model.
- Work collaboratively with staff, learners, parents and governors to promote continuous improvement.
- Assist with aspects of personal care, where appropriate, with dignity, sensitivity and respect.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience working in a school setting or with learners with ASC/SEMH difficulties (preferred).
- Strong commitment to safeguarding and child welfare; subject to Enhanced DBS check.
- Excellent communication, organisational and relational skills.
- Motivation to work in an inclusive, welcoming school community.
