We would love to invite you to join our fabulous school family as a business manager, a vital role for our school. We are looking for an enthusiastic, forward-thinking, well-motivated School Business Manager to join our supportive team who always put children at the heart of their decisions.
As School Business Manager, you will be expected to provide a confidential and efficient, high-quality support service in the areas of finance, premises management, HR and administration to facilitate the smooth running of the school. This will include providing daily support to the Head Teacher and line management support to financial administration staff, the school’s admin team and the Site Manager. You will be an excellent communicator, forward-thinker and creative leader who is able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities- Provide a confidential and efficient, high-quality support service in the areas of finance, premises management, HR and administration to facilitate the smooth running of the school.
- Provide daily support to the Head Teacher and line management support to financial administration staff, the school’s admin team and the Site Manager.
- Demonstrate excellent communication, forward-thinking, and creative leadership with good interpersonal skills.
- Has highly developed leadership skills and the ability to inspire others.
- Has the ability to manage a range of stakeholders.
- Is able to manage a budget successfully and efficiently.
- Can take ownership for their work and use their initiative.
- Can balance finance with the needs of the children.
The job is for 28 hours per week. There is some flexibility on how these hours can be arranged. The job is for 39 weeks of the year. Closing date is 12th February. Interviews will be held the week beginning the 2nd March.
