We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and highly organised Assistant SENDCo to support our inclusive and nurturing school community. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed individual who is passionate about improving outcomes for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Location: Rokeby Primary School, Anderson Avenue, Rugby, CV22 5PE

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support for SEND processes, including preparing and submitting Education, Health and Care (EHC) referral paperwork.
  • Coordinate and document Annual Review meetings.
  • Coordinate and deliver targeted interventions to support pupils with SEND, ensuring provision is responsive to individual needs.
  • Work directly with pupils, offering pastoral and academic support to enable them to access learning and make progress.
  • Work alongside the SENDCo to liaise effectively with families, external agencies and professionals, ensuring strong partnership working and clear communication.
