Salary and Hours: Band F, scp 7-10 (F7 £26,403 to F10 £28,142 full-time salary). 37 hours per week, 39 weeks of the year (term-time only, plus teacher training days). Fixed Term for one year from 1 September 2026 to 31 July 2027. Actual starting rate F7 £22,608 per annum after pro rata.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Support students in the school’s Focus Unit who have been removed from the main school environment for short periods of time.
- Provide assistance in classroom activities, behavioural support, and general teaching duties.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Positive attitude and proactive approach.
- Experience supporting pupils with specific behavioural needs preferred but not essential.
- Ideal for a graduate looking to gain school experience before embarking on a teacher training course.
