Warwick District Council — Community Protection (Independent Living)

Salary: £34,434 - £37,280 per annum.

Hours: 37 per week.

Contract: Permanent.

Responsibilities

  • The role is a frontline leadership position for the Independent Living Lifeline service.
  • You will be visible, proactive and responsive, working on-site to ensure service continuity across extended hours and to lead teams who provide response, support and reassurance to residents across the district.
  • You will be involved in the day-to-day management of a high-value service and work to deliver a high-quality, customer-focused lifeline service operating 24/7, 365 days a year.
  • Lead a vital, high-impact community service supporting over 4,000 connected customers.
  • Make a real difference to vulnerable residents across the district.
  • Work in a role with genuine responsibility and autonomy.
  • Be part of a service that works closely with emergency services and partners.
  • Lead teams across extended hours and respond to real-time needs.
  • Support staff dealing with complex, sensitive and sometimes emergency situations.

Qualifications and Experience

  • We are seeking two experienced and motivated Lifeline Team Leaders.
  • This is a hands-on leadership role with visibility on-site and a focus on ensuring service continuity.
  • Experience in frontline leadership or equivalent supervisory role.
  • Ability to lead teams working across extended hours and respond to real-time needs.
  • Experience in handling complex, sensitive and sometimes emergency situations.
