Warwickshire Property and Development Group (WPDG) is a company that is limited by shares which is wholly owned by Warwickshire County Council. It has been established with a purpose to drive forward housing, economic development and regeneration across the County to provide WCC with a long term income stream to invest in Council functions and to deliver high quality sustainable developments.
The Role
WPDG is looking for a Finance Manager to cover Maternity Leave (up to 14 Months). As Finance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Finance Director in the financial management of Warwickshire Property and Development Group and its three companies, overseeing day-to-day finance operations and managing the Finance Assistant. You will be responsible for property management finances, including rent invoicing, service charges, income collection and reporting, alongside maintaining accurate financial records and overseeing VAT, PAYE and CIS returns.
You will produce monthly management accounts, budgets and business plan information, monitor development projects against business cases, and support the Finance Director with financial planning and year-end accounts. This is a varied role offering the opportunity to contribute to the Group’s growth and its delivery of high-quality, sustainable housing, economic development and regeneration projects across Warwickshire.
