From September 2026, we are seeking to appoint an outstanding Assistant Headteacher to join Brookhurst Primary School at a pivotal stage in its journey. This role offers a significant leadership platform, whether you are an experienced senior leader ready to extend your impact, or a high‑potential middle leader seeking your first step into senior leadership.

As Assistant Headteacher, you will work in close partnership with the Headteacher to provide strategic leadership that secures tangible, sustained improvements in teaching, learning and outcomes for all pupils. You will lead key areas of whole‑school development, with responsibilities carefully aligned to your strengths and the school’s priorities, ensuring both immediate impact and long‑term professional growth. You will join a highly motivated and value‑driven team, united by a relentless commitment to excellence. Together, we are building a culture of high expectations, underpinned by evidence‑informed practice, where staff are supported to refine their craft and pupils are enabled to thrive both academically and personally.
