This is an exciting opportunity for a people‑focused, solutions‑driven Resourcing Adviser to play a key role in our team. Working at pace during a time of significant change, you’ll be a true team player who thrives on challenge, brings fresh ideas and takes pride in delivering outstanding service. This role is initially for a 12 month fixed term period whilst we deliver a wider People Services and Finance team project to implement a new HR/Payroll/Finance system.
Working pattern: This role is for 22.2 hours per week, ideally Wednesday – Friday, however other options can be considered – please get in touch with any questions around hours prior to applying.
Main Responsibilities:
- You will be accountable for delivering innovative recruitment solutions across multiple service areas – from high‑volume and hard‑to‑fill roles to temporary and high‑turnover positions.
- Support managers to design fair, inclusive and efficient recruitment and assessment processes that deliver quality hires quickly.
- Partner confidently with managers and senior leaders, advising, influencing and constructively challenging to improve time to hire, campaign success and cost effectiveness.
- Promote roles in line with our employer brand, covering attraction, advertising, assessment, selection and onboarding.
- Support with recruitment temporary workers and related compliance using data, creativity and market insight to develop smarter, more sustainable attraction approaches.
- Ensure an excellent candidate and hiring manager experience, with accurate, timely and compliant administration throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Using data and insight to drive decisions, produce meaningful resourcing metrics and share market intelligence to shape recruitment strategy.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Significant experience working within a resourcing, recruitment role – including being able to show experience advising managers on resourcing options, assessment methods, best practice and compliance.
- Leading recruitment processes and delivering recruitment/resourcing improvements to support the overall success of the organisation.
- Knowledge and understanding of employment law and the implications for recruitment and resourcing.
- Influencing skills with the ability to liaise with staff at all levels, and challenge perceptions, ways of working and decision making where appropriate.
- You’ll also be someone who has a positive, flexible and resilient approach, with the confidence to adapt quickly, support others and keep momentum during times of change.
- You will love working as part of a collaborative team, helping to keep the general team vibe upbeat and positive.
- You’ll be someone who builds trust and credibility by taking ownership of tasks and seeing them through to solution or delivery.
