We are seeking a passionate and motivated Youth Mentor to support young people and families as part of our Supporting Families First Team. The role involves working directly with young people and their families, providing one-to-one and group support, delivering positive activities, and helping them access opportunities within their local community.
The successful candidate will build positive relationships with young people, schools, community organisations, and partner agencies to promote wellbeing, safety, and positive outcomes. You will support young people who may be facing challenges, help them engage in education and activities, and empower families to make lasting positive changes. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience of working with young people, strong communication skills, and a commitment to safeguarding and improving outcomes for children and families. The role requires flexibility, initiative, and the ability to work effectively with a range of professionals and services.
