The Forge Secondary Pupil Referral Unit offers a fantastic opportunity to make a difference to young people’s lives by supporting a range of pupils who experience barriers to learning. Our pupils are aged 11‑16, many of whom have been excluded or are close to being excluded from mainstream school. Classes are small, between 2 and 8 pupils, allowing more impact. You will assist teachers in pupil learning and provide pastoral care and guidance.
Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in delivering learning support to pupils.
- Provide pastoral care and guidance.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 3 years of experience desirable (not essential).
- Experience working with SEN or SEMH difficulties highly desirable.
- UK applicants only – this role does not offer sponsorship.
