The Beacon Primary Pupil Referral Unit is a ten place setting situated in Redditch, Worcestershire. It is a maintained school and serves both the Redditch and Bromsgrove area. It supports pupils who are at risk of, or are permanently excluded. The Beacon also has an Outreach Team who work with mainstream schools.
An amazing opportunity has arisen to appoint a new Headteacher. The Governors wish to welcome applicants who have extensive experience of working with vulnerable pupils. If you have a passion to lead an Alternative Provision as a Headteacher by inspiring and motivating vulnerable pupils to thrive, to re-engage with learning and to reach their full potential then this could be the job for you.
We are looking for a leader who, by putting the pupils first, is able to provide a clear and strategic vision to move the school forward, celebrate success, communicate effectively, and work with stakeholders and external agencies while ensuring a safe and inviting environment for pupils.
