Charges Team Leader

We are creating a dedicated Charges Team to deliver fair, transparent, and legally compliant service charges and income services for our residents. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing service and make a real difference to our communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Charges Team and drive performance.
- Deliver accurate and transparent service charges, supporting income collection to maximise Housing Revenue Account performance.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and consultation requirements while providing excellent customer service to residents.
Qualifications and Experience
- Knowledge of housing service charges and income management with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Minimum level 3 qualification related to housing management and social housing practices.
- At least 3 years’ experience specific to the role or transferable skills within the social housing sector.
- At least 2 years’ recent experience in a senior or managerial role with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
